Ventolin Salbutamol (100mcg) Inhaler should not be used by people who are allergic to dibenzhydro-Salbutamol, or who have previously been allergic to any of its ingredients. If you are allergic to any of the ingredients in this product, you should not use Ventolin Salbutamol (100mcg) Inhaler.
Ventolin is commonly prescribed as an aerosol inhalant administered through an inhaler. For most individuals, two inhalations should be taken every four to six hours. This usually comes out to about two inhalations four times a day. More frequent inhalations are not recommended.
To prevent exercise-induced bronchospasms, it is recommended that you take two inhalations of Ventolin fifteen minutes before physical activity.
The exact dosage and schedule will vary depending on the patient's age, body weight, and severity of the condition. Take the medication exactly as your doctor has instructed.

What brand of Ventolin should you take?
Ventolin comes in the form of a tablet. It contains the active ingredient salbutamol.
Ventolin may be taken with or without food. Depending on your medical condition, your doctor may suggest that you take it with you when you have symptoms of asthma. If not, take Ventolin every day to maintain a consistent schedule for your exercise.
If you do not take a double dose of Ventolin, you should take the first dose at the same time every day. Skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
If you take too much of Ventolin, you could experience bronchospasm (symptoms of which include wheezing, shortness of breath, and chest pain or tightness in the chest). This is a medical emergency and you should contact your doctor as soon as possible.
Ventolin is not recommended during pregnancy.
